Jasmine Higgins Has 4.3 GPA At Mallard Creek High School
Boys & Girls Club of Greater Charlotte announces its 2023 Youth of The Year and we’re celebrating Jasmine Higgins. Jasmine Higgins will now compete in a regional competition for additional scholarships. Higgins is a senior at Mallard Creek High School, and has a 4.3 GPA! Higgins runs track and is a member of the cheerleading team and the National Honors Society. She’s been a member of the Belmont Avenue Boys & Girls Club for nearly 12 years, where she serves as a Junior Staff member and mentor to younger children.
Higgins, a member of the Belmont Avenue Boys & Girls Club, was selected by a panel of local business leaders from among other outstanding local Boys & Girls Club members. Higgins will now compete in regional competitions for additional college scholarships. The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs was founded locally in 1935 on North Poplar Street in North Carolina. They have eight clubs with hundreds of members in Mecklenburg and Union counties. Programs include academics, recreation, the arts, character and leadership, and health and life skills.
