Job Fair in South Carolina June 10th
This job fair is appropriately named, Reconnecting our Workforce, and spearheaded by Lancaster County Economic Development in response to employers wanting to gain traction after months of being stagnant because of the pandemic. It’s good to know that all services provided at SC Works are at no cost to the job seeker or the employer. Long story short, if you’re looking for employment SC Works is having a job fair this Thursday, June 10th at the USC-Lancaster in the Arnold Special Events Room from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as part of the national one-stop network which provides job seekers free use of computer labs connected to the state’s largest database of jobs. Another bonus is that job seekers may use SC Works’ skills assessment tools, participate in job readiness workshops, computer training and get career guidance.
Lancaster County employers have been planning event for quite some time and excited to see us attend. Lancaster Economic Development Executive Director Jamie Gilbert said. “We are also excited to see a high level of participation from our employers and want to see that level of participation from our job seekers. We appreciate the help SC Works has done to pull this event together.”
