You never know what a home renovation will uncover.
A UK couple ripped up their carpeting to change up the flooring and underneath was a room-sized Monopoly board painted on the subfloor. It looked exactly like a real board for the game.
The couple’s son-in-law shared the find on Reddit and got several responses explaining to him that painting board games, especially this iconic one, was common back in the day.
The family may leave the game board intact and seal it.
