Third stimulus check $1,400
Yes! More money, more money, and mo-money. President Biden signed the $1.9 trillion COVID relief bill!!!! That means you’re getting another check for the third time in the amount of $1,400 for you stimulus payments in your bank accounts this weekend, according to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki. Not sure where you are in the line to receive your check, but some folks will start see those direct deposits in their bank accounts real soon!
These payments don’t go out all at once so make sure your bank information is correct that the IRS has on file because you’ll be in the snail mail rotation and that could take longer with paper checks. Also, I’ve heard about people receiving debit cards. This time, individuals earning less than $75,000 and couples earning less than $150,000 would receive the full $1,400 payment, plus an additional $1,400 per dependent. But the third round of checks would phase out faster than earlier payments — completely cutting off individuals who earn more than $80,000 a year and married couples earning more than $160,000, regardless of how many children they have.
Lastly, the extension of federal unemployment benefits along with the enhanced child tax credit and more generous Affordable Care Act subsidies may take a few weeks or even months to show up.
