You Can Win Again, Too!
Everyone will go through some kind of defeat and that’s okay because it has a tendency to make us stronger. Let’s go back in history to February 11, 1990, when Mike Tyson entered the ring that night undefeated and had on several occasions knocked out his opponents within the first 30 to 60 seconds of the first round. Buster Douglas his opponent entered the ring as a huge underdog. As a matter of fact, Vegas odds on the fight had Douglas listed as a 42 to 1 underdog.
After going back and forth for 9 rounds, Douglas landed a right hook that buckled the legs of Iron Mike as he collapsed on the mat helplessly trying to reach for his mouthpiece. When the referee counted to ten without Mike pulling himself up off the canvas, I like most looked on in disbelief as if it was a dream or a joke! But it was not a dream, it was Mike Tyson’s biggest nightmare. A man had entered the ring that night who was not afraid to fight him. The Boxing experts doubted him, Vegas had doubted him, but he never doubted himself. NO MATTER WHAT! 42 to 1 doesn’t mean it’s impossible, it just means that when you get to show everyone that they misjudged the fighter that’s in you
