Build-Your-Own Ice Cream Spot Opening In Plaza Midwood By Summertime!
You know I love food too much to not write about a new ice cream spot that’ll be here by summertime!
Marble Slab Creamery is taking over the space where Nova’s Bakery used to be on Central Avenue in Plaza Midwood. They’ll have over 50 flavors to choose from with a whole slew of toppings that you can choose to mix in. They’ll also sell ice cream cakes, cookie cakes, banana splits, and other goodies!
Think of it as similar to Cold Stone Creamery, but owned locally! Owner Ryan Griffith lives in the neighborhood and actually knows the former owners of Nova’s Bakery. He is hoping for an opening day during May or June, just in time for warm weather.
Customers will be able to choose whether to eat inside or order from a takeout window. I can’t wait to try it out!
