Thanksgiving Countdown Series
Consider this your official 5 day countdown in honor of Thanksgiving. The day should be dedicated to our friends and family, whether we agree with their life choices or not. In a day where the country has never been more divided, and hatred seems to be brewing at every corner. We can truly say that some of our friends hold good intentions, and are genuinely kind hearted people to everyone regardless of their social economic status, race, or gender. There’s been times when we call up a friend at 3am with a need, and we help. Yet there’s some friends that always seem to pick up that phone even though they may not be able to help, or make the problem go away.
You know sometimes our friendships are tested. To be quite honest, me and my friends even disagree, and have heated discussions. However, at the end of the day we both know that when the dust settles, we will always be there for each other. Do any of you know what I’m talking about? Have you ever had a friend or friends that you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that will be there for you no matter what? If you do have people like that in your life? You have something to be Thankful for. What’s on your Thanksgiving menu this year? I made Thanksgiving dinner tonight and so glad we can munch on the yummy leftovers all week. One leftover meal will be a hot and spicy gumbo. What is your favorite leftover turkey meal? Don’t forget to be nice to those who don’t agree with you, because life is kind of short and to the point and we don’t have time to waist.
