My Favorite Brownie Recipe

If you make these brownies, you’ll thank me in the morning.
Ingredients:
- 2 boxes of Trader Joes Truffle Brownie
- Mix 5 ounces of vegetable oil
- 2 ounces of soft (not melted) salted butter
- 4 small eggs or 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of whipping cream
- 3 to 8 regular Hershey bars cut into pieces (do what makes you happy)
- 1 ½ cups of chopped pecans or walnuts (your choice)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine the first 6 ingredients into a large bowl
- Stir well with a fork to manage the thickness (about 40 to 50 stirs)
- After stirring spread ½ of the batter into a greased 13 x 9 baking pan
- Add your desired amount of chocolate bars
- Add nuts over chocolate bars
- Spoon the remaining brownie batter over chocolate bars and nuts
- Place in oven on 350 degrees for 30 minutes
Check on these brownies every 30 minutes as you bake on 350 degrees.
I baked my brownies in a conventional oven on 350 degrees for 30-minutes and reduced the heat to 250 degrees for 15 additional minutes. Total cooking time 45 minutes for my brownies. Side note about ovens: The heat from a convection oven is blown by fans, so the air circulates all over the inside of the oven. Convection ovens also do not need to preheat as conventional ovens do, but it’s up to you if you want to preheat your convection oven.
