Moving Part Two
Now that all of the household projects that need to get done are completed and the boxes that have been in the back of a closet and not opened for years have been sorted and downsized, its time to make a few more decisions regarding your move. Do I pack and move solo, or do I hire movers to take care of everything for me? There is no one right answer, it’s up to the individual and their budget. For a local move, consider doing a combination of both.
Most household items can be packed up easily even if you aren’t a professional mover and there are plenty of packing supplies available that can assist you along the way. There are some things, however, that you may want a professional to pack instead. This may include any delicate items you have and particularly kitchen glassware like plates, bowls and glasses. If not packed properly, these are items most likely to break.
Once packed, everything needs to be moved to your new location. Again, this can be done on your own, hired out or a combination of the two.
