Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk 2018
The 40th Annual Charlotte CROP Walk will take place Saturday, October 13th.
Charlotte CROP is back with their 40th annual CROP Walk. The CROP Walk is a walk that raises funds to help end hunger and poverty internationally, nationally, and locally. Proceeds from the walk go to benefiting three local organizations fighting hunger. Those organizations are Crisis Assistance Ministry, Loaves & Fishes and Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. The 4.1 Mile walk is mean’t to symbolize the distance people in developing nations walk everyday to get water or food.
The is mean’t to provide tools of hope that empower people to meet their own survival needs. The walk will take place on Saturday, October 13th at Independence Park from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. For more information about the Charlotte CROP Walk click here.
