“13 Reasons Why” is Back with Season 2
Last year, we were introduced to the intense Netflix original of 13 Reasons Why which tells a tragic yet influential story of a young girl named Hannah Baker who unfortunately takes her own life. Based on Jay Asher’s debut novel, Thirteen Reasons Why, a friend of Hannah’s Clay finds a mysterious box lying on his porch with seven double-sided cassette tapes recorded by Hannah, and throughout the story, we discover Hannah’s “13 Reasons Why.”
Now a year later, season two of 13 Reasons Why has finished filming and the story of Hannah Baker continues. The second season’s release date isn’t officially announced yet, but it will be in 2018. It is said we will see new perspectives on Hannah’s story and new outlooks on characters questioned Hannah’s “truth”.
Hannah’s story resonated with so many people and its safe to say, their story isn’t over just yet at Liberty High.
