Citronella is typically used in mosquito repellant, so it’s no surprise that Citronella Grass would be a great way to keep them out of the garden. The bummer is that the plant doesn’t work as well in colder climates or withstand frost, and Garden Design Magazine says to be sure to buy Cymbopogon nardus or Citronella winterianus.
