Starbucks Healthiest Holiday Drink
Dietitian Alissa Rumsey recommends a Gingerbread Tea Latte (with a twist) that gives us that holiday taste without all that guilt.
Looking for something to drink during the holiday season is always a little tricky. We want that sweet taste but we don’t want all those calories. A Grande Eggnog Latte from Starbucks has as much fat as two and a half glazed donuts, I don’t know about you but I’d much rather eat those donuts than get it from a drink.
Starbucks Gingerbread Tea Latte is already a thing, but you can’t just get it the way it comes and Rumsey lets us know how to treat ourselves without tipping the scale. If you ask for only one or two pumps of syrup to cut out that sugar, order with no whipped topping and 2% milk. If you follow these instructions your going to get yourself a yummy but healthy holiday drink that has 100 calories, two grams of fat, and 16 grams of sugar.
