1.)Dua Lipa was born in London on August 22nd 1995 (22 years old) to Albanian parents from Kosovo, a disputed territory in Southeastern Europe. In 2008, Dua moved back to Kosovo with her parents where she began her pursuit of music by covering songs from artists like P!nk and Nelly Furtado.

2.) At the age of 15, Dua Lipa left Kosovo and returned to London to chase her dreams of becoming a singer while working as a model and waitress.

3.) Music runs in the family for Dua, as her father, Dukagjin, was a member of an Albanian rock band titled “Oda”.

4.) Her newest single from her self titled debut album, “New Rules” is her first number one hit in the UK and the first number one song in the United Kingdom by a female vocalist since Adele’s “Hello”.
