There are a bunch of things that used to be normal but are now luxuries. Times change pretty quickly and our kids are growing up in a different world than we did. A Reddit thread that asks, “What previously normal thing is now a luxury?” is reminding us just how much things have changed.

Thousands of people have chimed in with things that have become less accessible over the years. These are some of the once-common things that are now considered extravagant according to Reddit:

  • "Having a reachable, reliable doctor that doesn't make you feel like you're wasting their time.”
