Summer is almost here, and a lot of people will be taking time off to travel. So what are the most overrated attractions in the world? Lots of folks like to flock to popular destinations, some of those popular spots may not really be worth the time and money. So, how do you know which ones to skip? Well, a new report is here to help.

According to a new survey by the travel guide Fodor’s:

87% of folks are planning to travel this summer.
70% are looking at domestic destinations for their summer travel.

When it comes to picking where to go, the guide asked their readers to share their picks for the most Overrated Attractions in the World.

Surprisingly, topping the list are the Disney Theme Parks, with 17% of people choosing either Walt Disney World Orlando, or Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

As for why it’s so overrated, the main complaints are that it’s too crowded and too expensive.

  • The survey finds some people just don’t like entire cities including:
    • Las Vegas (4%)
    • New York (2%)
    • Los Angeles (2%)
