If you have a daughter like me, chances are you’re either in the middle of, done with or about to do “Frozen.” My 4-year-old daughter Ruby is all about some Elsa. She dresses up and plays “Frozen” with dad. Usually, I’m Sven the reindeer haha.
My wife and I took the kids to the Belk Theater last night to see “Frozen the Musical.” I have to say, I like the “Frozen” movies but was a little fearful of my ADD kicking in while watching the play. Turns out there was only one moment when I zoned out. Hahaha. The show was amazing. My daughter Ruby was all dressed up like Elsa with braids and dress and all.
We actually made a nice date night out of it. First, we took Ruby to get an “Elsa braid” at the hair place. She also got her nails all done up haha. We went to Cowbell Burger right across the street for dinner. There we saw lots of other Elsa’s ready for the big show!
The show itself was amazing. These performers are true Broadway professionals. The show was incredible. Elsa and Anna and Christoph were spectacular! The theatre was filled with kids and no one was bored or restless during the show.
According to Blumenthal website:

An unforgettable theatrical experience filled with sensational special effects, stunning sets and costumes, and powerhouse performances, Frozen is everything you want in a musical: It’s moving. It’s spectacular. And above all, it’s pure Broadway joy.
Look for the really shredded guy who plays Pabbie. That’s Tyler Jimenez from Charlotte. We chatted with him.
It’s running now through June 26th. Some days have 2 shows, check it out!
