Since the pandemic started, Uber says more and more people have been ordering food with UberEats. Because who in the last year and a half hasn’t needed warm comfort food delivered right to your door? The company came out with their annual Cravings Report for 2021 and they have found some interesting stats, including the Top 10 Most Popular Uber Eats Orders.
First, my stat they found is that side orders of cheese fries have increased more than 1,234% since the beginning of the pandemic. See what I mean about warm comfort food? Truly one of life’s best gifts. Uber also found that bananas are their top-selling grocery item. They also made a few shoutouts to NC specifically. One shout-out was to Asheville, NC for being great with tipping!
Another was to one specific unnamed customer in Raleigh who ordered from Zayka Indian Cuisine 904 times over the last year. I guess I’ve got to go try that Indian place now! I mean, if someone ate from that same restaurant 904 times in one year, it must be pretty good, right?!
