The South Carolina Gamecocks had quite a good time following their recent win. On Saturday, November 2, the Gamecocks faced Texas A&M for their homecoming game. The team won 44-20 in a great homecoming matchup. But, the game is not the only thing that stole the show.
Following the win, Gamecocks Head Coach, Shane Beamer, took his team by surprise. After the game, the Gamecocks headed back into the locker room for their final remarks. While talking with this team, Beamer did something a little extra romantic for his wife. Beamer told the team that it was his wife’s birthday and also, that she was in the locker room and he wanted to do something special for her.

Beamer told the team that he may need their assistance to sing something for her birthday. But, it was not going to be your typical “Happy Birthday!” like many thought was coming. Taking the team by surprise, he told them he would need their help to sing a song he had heard them sing often during practice. It was Fantasia!
Coach Beamer and the entire Gamecock football team broke out in song to sing “When I See You” by Fantasia to his wife for her birthday. The video was posted to social media and immediately took off. The video now has millions of views across social media platforms and thousands of comments.
