Have you seen the Mariah Carey Christmas-themed wax figure? Critics are saying the holiday-themed wax figure is one of, if not the best wax figure ever done.

As we kick off Carey's favorite time of the year, the queen of Christmas was honored with a special holiday wax figure by Madame Tussauds in New York City. Sunday, November 3, they unveiled the wax figure and social media users began buzzing instantly. The attention to detail and accuracy of the figure makes you think it's really Mariah Carey!

Carey, 55, has been deemed the "Queen of Christmas" as her hit song, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" hits the charts at #1 every holiday season. Following Halloween each year, she announces that it's "time" to let everyone know the holidays are approaching.

Mariah Carey or Mariah Carey?

This year, Madame Tussauds decided to honor her with a "Christmas Carey." At the unveiling, Carey took photos posing exactly the same as the statue and the comparison is unreal. Fans took to social media to react to the wax figure's accuracy and details.

"They did a fantastic job. When the wax Mariah Carey looks more like the real Mariah Carey than the real Mariah Carey herself 😂" said one commenter. Another said, "Why did I think it was just two pics 😂"

Carey has created an entire brand under her Christmas theme and it's the time of year we know we will see and hear from her. This year, Carey will be going on a mini holiday tour, Mariah Carey's Christmas Time. The tour kicks off November 6th in California and will end in the middle of December in New York.

Now that November is here and Mariah Carey has declared "it's time" we will officially wait to see when the stores and commercials begin playing her hit song. Have you listened to any Christmas music yet?
