South Carolina Water Is The Best Water For Skin & Hair
Good news beauty gurus. The South Carolina water, it’s pretty good for your skin and hair. This is according to a recent study by our friends at Clarins.
They were interested in examining the impact water quality has on our skin and hair. So the experts at Clarins analyzed water test results across the U.S. to determine the levels of contaminants and water hardness in each state.
Data points analyzed included levels of arsenic, chlorate, nitrate, fluoride, lead, turbidity, and overall water hardness. Each of these substances can have a negative impact on skin if used for facial cleansing or showering.
South Carolina Water Ranks 3rd Nationally For Skin & Hair
And South Carolina ranked third nationwide for the softest water. And soft water means that it is best for skin health across the US.
Hard water places people at a higher risk of dry skin, clogged pores, and weak, straw-like hair.
South Carolina water was determined to have a hardness level of just 25. The worst state, Kansas has a water hardness of 299 in contrast.
