How He Got That Ken-Ergy
The actor, who stars alongside Emily Blunt in the action-comedy film, The Fall Guy, was in attendance at SXSW in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday. The father of two told People on the red carpet how he got some helpful advice from the lovely ladies in his life. Gosling says his long-term partner Eva Mendes and their daughters Esmeralda Amada, 9, and Amada Lee, 7, came to the dress rehearsal the day before. Sitting front row, Gosling, 43, said it was "great" and "so fun" that his family gave him some tips and some notes.
Noting all the notes he was given were "all great notes," the proud dad said a huge part of his Barbie performance was due to his girls' "interest in Barbie and disinterest in Ken," which fueled his determination to put on a great show. And what a great show it was -- Gosling's performance featured backup dancers and other Kens from the film, as well as rock stars Slash and Wolfgang Van Halen! His song for the Barbie film may have lost to Billie Eilish for Best Original Song, but the audience and the internet loved the performance.

Footage of legendary director Martin Scorsese vibing to the performance was captured by his daughter and TikTok star, Francesca Scorsese. Mendes, 50, saw the highly-circulated video and re-posted it on her since-expired Instagram Stories. She wrote over the video: "I’m living for this major moment of your Dad!!!! How F cool!"
The Fall Guy hits theaters on May 3. Of his action role, Gosling revealed to the publication that he was dropped twelve stories off of a building -- and he has a fear of heights! He admitted he would have been "happy to say I did none of my own stunts" but felt it important to do at least a few, noting his character is a stuntman. The film revolves around an explosive sci-fi-Western and Blunt plays the movie-in-a-movie’s director, forced to hire Gosling’s character to oversee its wild stunt sequences. Watch the trailer below:

The Most Dapper Men of the Night
Take a look below at how these 6 ravishing actors donned dapper looks at the 2024 Oscars:
Colman Domingo

The 'Rustin' star was giving us major retro western vibes with this impeccable suit! Domingo sported a chic Louis Vuitton black double-breasted suit. With all the stunning work in the details, the actor completed the ensemble with intricate buttons and flared trousers that grazed over his golden, steel-toe cowboy boots.
Ke Huy Quan

The 'Everything Everywhere All At Once" knocked us out with this double-breasted merlot red Giorgio Armani suit. Paired with amber-tinted shades, last year's Oscar winner is giving big pimpin' energy with this pose! Quan gushed on the red carpet about how proud he was once again to grace the Oscars, wanting to snag selfies with Martin Scorsese, Robert Downey, Jr., Ryan Gosling, and a whole list of other stars.
John Krasinski

The actor and filmmaker supported his wife, Emily Blunt at the Oscars, but we must say, his outfit is much better than hers. Though the couple both sported white, the 'Office' alum's ivory suit and matching bowtie is so crisp and clean looking. He accessorized with a Tiffany & Co. diamond brooch and black patent leather dress shoes, completing the finishing touches to his ensemble.
Ryan Gosling

The 'Barbie' star wowed us once again on the red carpet, proving that he isn't "Just Ken." Gosling's Oscar look is a custom black Gucci suit with sparkling silver trim detailing. The silver trim streamlines his entire look, seen in both the blazer and his undershirt. The actor's tousled golden locks just exudes sex appeal.
Matthew McConaughey

McConaughey's chocolate brown suit has us feeling "alright, alright alright!" The Oscar presenter's brown Versace tuxedo features contrasting black lapels, paired with a black bowtie, rust-colored sunglasses, and shiny brown dress shoes in a matching color to his tux.
Cillian Murphy

The 'Oppenheimer' star knows all about blowing us away with his choice in suit cuts. Murphy donned this black custom Atelier Versace suit, that seems to swallow up the light in the best way. His ruffled tuxedo shirt is paired with an atomic blast brooch. The humbled actor said he hadn't really thought about what it would be like to win an Oscar adding, "I just want to go in and have a good time."
