Celebrate Women’s History Month At The Gantt
Mark the calendars to visit the Gantt, Thursday, March 16th from 6 pm – 8:30 pm as we celebrate women. This event is for all ages and free to the general public. Come celebrate Women’s History Month with us for a roundtable discussion. You’ll meet the city’s most esteemed women leaders of color. It’s nice to know that Charlotte, North Carolina is recognizing diversity and inclusion, as good things. This engaging roundtable discussion will be held at the Gantt with Black & Women of Color leaders, achievers, and students. This event is free and open to all. For this educational event, they’re focusing on K-12 students and community members. The main purpose is to inspire connections and networking opportunities.
Panelists in this roundtable represent the arts, business, civic life, religion, education, healthcare, and more. The Gantt is in partnership with the UNC-Charlotte College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Women’s and Gender Studies department. The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture is a multi-disciplinary arts institution in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina. The mission of the gallery is to present, preserve and celebrate excellence in the art, history, and culture of African-Americans.
