Jenna Ortega, Woody Harrelson, and More To Host ‘SNL’
Saturday Night Live‘s season 48 is returning next weekend (February 25) with three new shows back-to-back, and a whole slate of A-list hosts and musical guests.
Kicking off SNL‘s return is Woody Harrelson with musical guest Jack White from the White Stripes next Saturday. The True Detective alum will join the five-timers club when he returns to Studio 8H. Jack White is also making his fifth appearance on the show — once with The White Stripes and three previous times solo.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who’s hot off his Super Bowl LVII victory will be making his SNL debut on March 4. Kelce will be the first athlete to host since football player J.J. Watts hosted in February 2020. Kelce will be joined by another first-timer, musical guest Kelsea Ballerini. During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Kelce, 33, performed the Beastie Boys’ “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right,” the song that he referenced after the Chiefs’ victory on Super Bowl Sunday. He told Fallon that he is “so nervous” about hosting. Fallon assured him that he is going to be great and it will be a “hot show.”
Wednesday star Jenna Ortega is set to host for the first time and will be joined by musical guest The 1975. This makes the English pop rock band’s second turn as SNL musical guests. Larry David hosted in 2016 when the band performed last time.

Pedro Pascal, who stars in the successful HBO drama The Last of Us made his SNL hosting debut earlier this month with musical guest Coldplay. Coldplay has been musical performers for the late-night show seven times.
Saturday Night Live airs live at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

7) Need More Cowbell
I mean let’s face it, we’ve all said the line. This entire skit is chaos. Jimmy Fallon can’t hold it together. Well, actually almost none of them can hold it together. But this is easily my favorite Will Ferrell SNL skit. Every time Will starts banging the cowbell and trying to capture it in the surround sound I lose it.
8) Da Bears Shirt
You’re lying if you’ve never said “Da Bears” before. After this skit came out all of us where using saying it this way and Bob Swerski is easily one of my favorite characters from the SNL skits.
9) Stefan Tee
Speaking of favorite characters, Bill Hader’s Stefan is towards the top of that list. The brainchild of John Mulaney, Stefan is a gay, city correspondent for Seth Myers’s Weekly Update skit on SNL and I swear every time Bill Hader breaks character I end up laughing so much harder. The scenes are hilarious and my favorites are the ones that Bill Hader can hardly get through.
11) Spartans Spirit Tee
Cheri Oteri and Will Ferrell are amazing in this skit. You can literally find my family quoting many of the Spartan cheers because we can’t help ourselves. They were just so funny. The best part, this could be the beginning of an amazing Halloween costume.
