Kardashian-Jenners Owe No Damages in Blac Chyna Defamation Trial
The Kardashian-Jenner family do not owe a single cent to Blac Chyna following a two-week defamation trial.
According to multiple outlets — including ET and Page Six — the jury’s verdict was reached today (May 2) in L.A. Superior Court, with Page Six noting, “The jury ultimately decided no damages, but did find Kris [Jenner] acted to protect her own economic interest.”
As previously reported, Chyna, real name Angela Renée White, was suing the Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner for more than $40 million for loss of earnings and more than $60 million in future earnings. She claims the Kardashian-Jenners used their media machine to defame her and interfered with her contract for Rob & Chyna.
The trial featured many memorable moments including from Rob Kardashian who said during his testimony on April 27 that he never loved Chyna and said his relationship with her happened during the “lowest point” in his life, and that while she accepted him, “It wasn’t real love. I had a baby with this girl.”
On top of that, Kardashian said Chyna physically assaulted him at least five times during their relationship, including a night when she allegedly strangled him with a phone cord during which Kardashian said on the stand Chyna had been drinking and doing cocaine.
“I had a gun held to my head several times by this woman. That’s not love,” said Kardashian.
