Happy Veterans Day AJ Massey!
We live in a culture where we have deified our athletes, actors, musicians, and movie stars. We take nothing away from any of our icons, but today I wanna talk about the real heroes of America, yep, our Veterans of all branches. Do you have a family member who served? My broadcasting teammate is Antwanard Massey, aka AJ, a US Army solider that served in Afghanistan and Iraq. Today, we’re lifting AJ up with KUDOS and acknowledgment. He’s an entrepreneur, husband, father, brother and friend. He’s that extremely intelligent, considerate, caring, and HARD WORKING audio and video producer/content creator. Show your appreciation for AJ on Linkedin, today!
My Uncle LaVerne Shelton was a Tuskegee Airmen. Tuskegee Airmen were the first black military aviators in the U.S. Army Air Corps (AAC), a precursor of the U.S. Air Force. They were trained at the Tuskegee Army Air Field in Alabama, and flew more than 15,000 individual missions in Europe and North Africa during World War II. My beloved dad served in Korean Conflict, and we’re proud of him too!
Our Veterans don’t work inside of packed stadiums or arenas, nor do they work on camera, on stage, or the big screens in Hollywood, but they work in some of the most adverse circumstances that keeps them away from family for extended amounts of time, while putting their life on the line for you and for me. We have the very best in the world, and they are our Veterans.
For those of you who may choose to spend part of your day taking a walk or jogging. Just remember that there is a Veteran in a wheelchair that lost his mobility to give you that right. For those of you who may want to catch a movie today, just remember there’s a veteran who lost his sight, that you may be able to enjoy that movie with family or a friend. THANK YOU VETERANS. WE OWE YOU MORE THAN WE HAVE TO GIVE. BECAUSE YOU HAVE GIVEN US EVERYTHING! Happy Veterans Day
