Ellen Is Buttering Employees Up By Increasing Their Perks
Ellen DeGeneres is reportedly trying to make things right with her staff. According to Page Six, in response to recent allegations of a toxic work environment at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she has increased perks for all her employees.
They state, “We’re told staffers will receive increased paid time off and a generous medical leave policy.” Some changes include getting birthdays off and paid time for medical appointments and family matters.
Insiders have also told the outlet that these new perks and Ellen speaking with her staff this week has already improved morale on the set of Ellen’s Game of Games. The spinoff show’s rehearsals have recently resumed since taking a break due to coronavirus.
Ellen is reportedly returning to set next week. Page Six lastly adds, “Some staffers are excited to move forward from the drama.”
