Two UNCC Niners Drafted into the NFL
Man, as a UNC Charlotte Alumni, this story made me proud and happy!
The NFL Draft was this past weekend and two Charlotte 49ers Alex Highsmith and Cameron Clark were selected in the third and fourth rounds of the NFL Draft. Highsmith, a defensive end, was picked by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Highsmithbecame the third 49er ever chosen in the NFL Draft. Clark, an offensive lineman, by the New York Jets.
In addition, UNC Charlotte Running back Bennie LeMay signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent. Congrats guys and may your NFL career be amazing! You can read more on these Charlotte 49ers players here.
