Going to Scarowinds this month? Well, they may have a new owner soon. Six Flags has approached Carowinds parent company, Cedar Fair with an offer to buy the amusement park.
Six Flags has approached Carowinds parent company, Cedar Fair with an acquisition offer to occur the company, Reuters reported Wednesday. According to Reuters, Six Flags Entertainment Corp. approached Cedar Fair LP with an acquisition offer.
Carowinds is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company, a publicly-traded partnership, and one of the largest regional amusement-resort operators in the world.
