Ciara Shares Details Of Her Prayer For ‘A Good Man’
Ciara recently sat down with Angie Martinez and during their conversation, CiCi talked about her famous prayer for “a good man.”
“I prayed many times,” Ciara said in the interview. “I was very specific at this point in my life.”
The “Level Up” singer said that she focused on loving herself first because it wasn’t just about her, it was also about her and her son, Future at the time.
“I prayed for a God-fearing man. I prayed for discernment. I prayed for wisdom. To really learn from the wisdom that I’ve gained from the experience that I’m going through. I prayed for a man that loved kids because obviously having my son. If you’re gonna love me, you gotta love him,” Ciara shared.
“I prayed for a man that was worldly as well because I love to explore. So someone that’s gonna edify my world. I was ready to level up.”
Ciara talked about the specificity of her prayers and desires.
“I think we have to be really specific about what we are attracting into our lives because love can look different.

When Ciara first started dating her now husband, Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson, people began trolling the “Beauty Marks” singer.
Some people felt like Wilson was “corny,” but now after marriage, a kid, and a renewed NFL contract (the highest paid one), everyone wants to know what exactly was Ciara’s prayer for “a good man,” that eventually led her to Wilson.
