The Best National Parks In The U.S.
Some families spend their summers roaming the beaches with their treacherous waves, those without kids will take on a different challenge as they try to conquer the rocky hills, and slopes of our National Parks.
There are 60 National Parks in the U.S. which were visited roughly 331 million times last year alone. Now we’re not saying you have to visit the mountains or springs, because even some of us on the show have fears of wildlife and may honestly not be the best swimmers in the world.
However one of our interns spent their first time at the mountains at the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, Tennessee, where they went white water rafting and hang gliding. the outdoor experience was like no other, the hot muggy sun along with gnats and flies and any other type of wild insect smacking you in the face as you walk through the trails was over whelming.
However being in the wilderness made me appreciate the other aspects of life such as the fresh air, scenery, and peaceful nights.
Most importantly the obstacles you have to overcome such as heights, whether your rock climbing or climbing up steep slopes. The end results are so worth it when you finally make it to the top and discover that you have faced your fears and what you thought you couldn’t do.
Since ” Money” magazine came out with their top 10 choices for Best national parks which were ranked by what the parks had to offer as far as scenery and pricing. Money magazine also checked in on prices for a couple to visit the ten most visited National Parks.
We strongly advise you to do something outside of your realm this summer. Lets put down the surf boards and beach balls. Get your tents out, your boots, and of course sunscreen and lets go on an adventure through one of these National Parks and embark on experience, a journey like no other.
