STAMFORD, CT - NOVEMBER 24: A Guatemalan immigrant carves the Thanksgiving turkey on November 24, 2016 in Stamford, Connecticut. Family and friends, some of them U.S. citizens, others on work visas and some undocumented immigrants came together in an apartment to celebrate the American holiday with turkey and Latin American dishes. They expressed concern with the results of the U.S. Presidential election of president-elect Donald Trump, some saying their U.S.-born children fear the possibilty their parents will be deported after Trump's inauguration. Thanksgiving is coming, so prepare for the food onslaught! Everyone gets excited about the turkey and all the delicious food that will be eaten on Thanksgiving. And almost better than Thanksgiving dinner, are those delightful leftovers the next day (and the days after that). Sometimes, when you store Thanksgiving food properly, it really gives time for the flavors to set in.

It’s usually around day three where things go south. There is still a ton of food, but everyone is kind of “over it.” But you don’t want to waste food. Instead, try reimagining the ingredients into other delicious dishes. Here are some suggestions.
