After reading this several times, I still cannot believe that any North Carolina city did not make the Top Mosquito Cities In The U.S. list!

While a lot of us welcome the warm weather, one thing that we don’t love so much is the mosquitos that come with it. Those pesky bites are bound to ruin even the perfect day, and in some parts of the country, they can be a much bigger problem than in others.

Orkin has just released their annual Top 50 Mosquitoes Cities List, based on the number of mosquito customers served from April 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022.

Loss Angeles tops the list for the second year in a row. Chicago comes in second, followed by New York, with both cities jumping up three spots from last year. San Francisco moves up 34 spots this year to land in the Top 10 at eight. Several cities make the Top 50 list for the first time, including Columbus (OH), Pittsburgh (PA), Sacramento (CA), Milwaukee (WI), Champaign (IL), Portland (OR), Louisville (KY), Hartford (CT), and Waco (TX). Two others that made the list for the very first time are Carolina’s own, Greensboro (NC), and Myrtle Beach (SC).
