North Carolinians get ready to party! We’ve compiled 12 cocktails that are a real Christmas treat for those entertaining 21+ guests this holiday season. This season, Gancia is encouraging consumers to elevate their hosting and toasting by adding some bubbly to crafted cocktails.

Whether you’re enjoying them next to a fire or at a holiday party, these cocktail creations will be a great addition to any celebration.

• 1. Rose Prosecco and Creme de Cassis Cocktail

  Ingredients

  • 6 teaspoons creme de cassis brandy, divided
  • 3 teaspoons lemon juice, divided
  • 1 bottle chilled Rose Prosecco sparkling wine

  Directions

  • Pour 1 teaspoon of creme de cassis and ½ teaspoon lemon juice into each champagne glass
  • Stir
  • Slowly fill each glass to the top with chilled Rose Prosecco
  • Skewer three raspberries on each of 6 bamboo sticks and drop them into the glasses to serve

  

• 2. Apple & Eve

  Ingredients & Directions

  • 50ml /1.7 fl oz Russian Standard
  • 100ml /3.4oz apple juice
  • Cinnamon
  • Mix together and enjoy!

• 3. Apple Gancia

  Ingredients and Directions

  • 4.5 cl Apple Pulp
  • 2 Sifted Cinnamon
  • ½ Squeezed Lime
  • Top with Gancia Prosecco Doc Rosé
  • Garnish with a dried apple and cinnamon

  

• 4. Holiday Sparkler

  Ingredients

  • 4 dashes of orange bitters
  • 1 sugar cube
  • ½ ounce elderflower liqueur
  • 1-ounce cranberry juice
  • 2 ounces sparkling rose
  • Rock candy stir stick to garnish

  Directions

  • Soak a sugar cube in orange bitters and place it in a champagne flute
  • Add the elderflower liqueur and cranberry juice and top with sparkling rose
  • Stir briefly and gently to combine
  • Garnish with a rock candy stir stick

• 5. Standard Cup

  Ingredients & Directions

  • 1oz Russian Standard Vodka
  • 1oz Chareau Aloe Liqueur
  • 1oz Real Ginger Puree
  • 1oz lemon juice
  • 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
  • Shake over ice with a handful of diced cucumber and mint into Colin’s glass.
  • Add a splash of Ginger Beer
  • Garnish with a cucumber wheel and mint crown

• 6. Christmas Prosecco Punch

  Ingredients

  • Cranberry juice
  • Pomegranate juice
  • Orange juice
  • Vodka
  • Orange liqueur
  • Prosecco
  • Cranberries
  • Oranges
  • Pomegranate seeds

  Directions

  • Combine juices, vodka, orange liqueur in a bowl or jug.
  • Top off with prosecco prior to serving.
  • Garnish with cranberries, oranges, and pomegranate seeds.

• 7. Smashed Blackberry-Sage Spritz

  Ingredients 

  • 1 to 2 whole fresh blackberries
  • 3 to 4 fresh sage leaves
  • 2 ounce Suze
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 dash simple syrup (1:1 water to sugar)
  • 1 splash Prosecco, to top

  Directions

  • Lightly muddle the blackberries and sage at the bottom of a mixing glass, and top with Suze, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  • Shake vigorously for 10 seconds, and then strain into a wine glass over ice.
  • Top with prosecco, about 3 ounces, and garnish with sage and/org blackberries if you’d like!

• 8. Bolshoi Basil

  Ingredients

  • 40 ml/1.4 fl oz (4 parts)
  • Russian Standard
  • 30 ml/1 fl oz (3 parts)
  • Fresh lime juice
  • 3 fresh basil sprigs
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Soda water

  Directions

  • Muddle the basil and sugar.
  • Fill the glass with ice, add the rum and lime juice and stir before adding a dash of soda and garnishing with a
    basil sprig.

• 9. BERRYOSKA

  Ingredients

  • 50 ml/1.7 fl oz Russian Standard
  • 8-10 cranberries
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 3 teaspoons sugar

  Directions

  • Muddle the lime juice with the sugar and cranberries in a rocks glass.
  • Fill the glass with crushed ice, add the vodka, and stir.
  • Garnish with more crushed ice, cranberries, and an orange wedge.

• 10. Russian Standard Apple Cider Hot Toddy

  Ingredients

  • 6 ounces apple cider (preferably fresh-pressed)
  • 2 ounces water
  • ½ – 1 teaspoon packed, finely grated ginger root (to your taste)
  • Dash cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 ½ ounce of Russian Standard Vodka
  • 1 teaspoon strained fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • Cinnamon stick, apple slice, or lemon wheel to garnish

  Directions

  • Combine the apple cider, water, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small saucepan and bring to a bare simmer.
  • Meanwhile, combine the Russian Standard Vodka and lemon juice in a mug.
  • Strain the hot spiced cider into the mug, discarding the solids. Stir in the honey until melted. Add more lemon or honey to balance the drink if need be.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick, apple slice, and/or lemon wheel, and enjoy!

• 11. Vodka Espresso

  Ingredients & Directions

  • 45ml/ 1.5oz Russian Standard Platinum
  • 15ml/ .5oz Galliano Ristretto
  • 10ml/ .4oz sugar syrup
  • 30ml/ 1oz fresh espresso
  • Then just shake and strain.
  • Garnish with three coffee beans.

• 12. Russian Standard Pumpkin Spice White Russian Cocktail

  Ingredients

  • 3 ounces of Russian Standard Vodka
  • 3 ounces pumpkin spice creamer
  • 1 ½ ounce Kahlua
  • Whipped Cream and pumpkin pie spice for garnish

  For the rim

  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or sparkling sugar
  • 3 tablespoons crushed graham crackers

  Directions

  • Mix the ingredients for the rim together on a shallow plate. Dip the edge of two glasses in water and then dip into the graham mixture. Press to coat. Set the two glasses aside.
  • Pour Russian Standard Vodka, creamer, and Kahlua into a large cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake lightly until combined and cold. Pour into glasses.
  • Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice and enjoy!
