Charlotte Venues Set To Host 15 Music Events This Weekend (January 10-11)
Charlotte’s music scene comes alive this Jan. 10-11, 2025, with 15 live shows happening around the city. The weekend offers a variety of music, from elegant classical pieces to energetic bluegrass tunes.
At Knight Theatre, the Charlotte Symphony kicks off with Bach & Mozart on Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. They perform again on Jan. 11 at 7:30 p.m., with a final Sunday performance at 3:00 p.m.
Visulite Theatre hosts Songs From The Road Band for a Jan. 10 show at 8:00 p.m. The following night gets lively as Neighborhood Theatre features both Yonder Mountain String Band and Griffin House, starting at 8:00 p.m.
Middle C Jazz comes alive with Willie Bradley’s double performance on Jan. 11. The Billboard artist performs at 6:30 p.m., then returns at 8:45 p.m. Meanwhile, Tycho hits the stage at The Underground, starting at 8:00 p.m.
As evening approaches on Jan. 11, the music heats up. Evening Muse features Karmachain and Grindhouse at 10:30 p.m. At Coyote Joe’s, Bryan Martin takes the stage at 11:00 p.m.
Amos’ Southend gets in on the action with Dave Matthews Tribute Band at 8:30 p.m. The Underground adds to the mix with an 18+ event called Gimme Gimme Disco at 9:00 p.m.
The music continues beyond the weekend. Knight Theater presents The Black Notes Project’s jazz performances from Jan. 24-25, with five shows scheduled. One highlight features the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra.
January’s lineup gets even better with the Kevin Hart’s comedy show, and the Ringling Bros. circus returning. R&B and hip-hop fans can check out DaBaby & Friends or enjoy a show featuring Dru Hill, Jon B, Case, and Changing Faces.
