Coastal Carolina Alum Law & Order: SVU Role
To be upfront, I have a personal connection to Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. My son is a senior about to graduate in December. And, another Coastal Carolina alum, Kevin Kane, has achieved in big ways since his college days.
According to WPDE, Keven Kane was a theatre major at Coastal once upon a time. And now, you’ll see him as a regular character on ‘Law & Order: SVU.’ Kane plays Detective Terry Bruno on the NBC show, with season 26 kicking off October 3.
The actor and former student at Coastal Carolina University appeared last season in episode 13. And, Kane appeared as other minor characters in previous seasons, as well.
Kevin Kane’s Career
The 36 year old Philadelphia native is a director and producer in addition to his acting roles. In fact, he co-produced the Comedy Central sketch comedy series ‘Inside Amy Schumer’ during the years 2013-2022. And, he played various roles on the series, as well as appearing in the rom-com ‘Trainwreck’ in 2015.
The Coastal Carolina alum Law & Order gig is certainly something to brag about. And, it’s always nice to see someone who spent time in our neck of the woods doing exciting things in their chosen profession.
The university posted a congratulatory message concerning the Coastal Carolina alum Law & Order role. So, be on the lookout for Kane as Detective Terry Bruno when the new season kicks off in October. I’m sure my husband will. He’s one of the biggest fans I know.
