Bobby’s Burgers Charlotte Officially Open In South Park
I remember when we first learned about a new celebrity chef driven restaurant coming to South Park. And, now according to Fox News 8, Bobby’s Burgers Charlotte is officially open. I am a huge fan and can’t wait to visit.

Bobby’s Burgers Charlotte is in SouthPark at 6000 Fairview Rd. And, this puts the new spot in The Towers office complex. The venture is a project with local restaurateur Frank Scibelli, acting as investor and advisor. Plus, press releases indicate the project plans a second Bobby’s Burgers in Raleigh-Durham International Airport by the end of the year.
According to celebrity chef Bobby Flay, “Charlotte was handpicked because it is the headquarters for our executive team in charge of franchising.” Furthermore, Scibelli said, “Bobby brings the kind of innovation that will surely disrupt the burger scene in Charlotte, which is one of the many reasons his brand is perfect for our community.”
What To Expect From Bobby’s Burgers Charlotte
So, more importantly, what can we expect from Bobby’s Burgers Charlotte? Well, you know Bobby always ‘crunchifies’ his burgers. In other words, he usually adds potato chips or something equally crunchy to his burgers. And, Bobby’s Burgers Charlotte will also have the famous ‘Crunchburger.’ Plus, he’ll feature a Nacho Burger, which I personally feel like honors his beloved late cat Nacho, and the ‘Beat Bobby Flay’ Veggie Burger.
Also, Bobby’s Burgers Charlotte will serve as the chef’s personal test kitchen where he plans to curate and tweak new recipes.
Frank Scibelli, the founder of ‘FS Food Group,’ is the investment company behind many of our favorite restaurants in the Charlotte area, including Mama Ricotta’s he opened in 1992 at just 27 years old.
Plus, Scibelli is responsible in part for more than a dozen others such as Little Mama’s, YAFO Kitchen, Midwood Smokehouse, Paco’s Tacos and Tequila and more.
We plan to visit very soon and report back. So, we’ll let you know how it is! Although the soft launch was July 6, they plan a grand opening July 17.
