How Many Relationships It Takes Before Finding “The One”
Looking for “The One”? That old saying that “you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince” may actually be true, new research suggests. It takes it one step further by revealing the exact number of frogs you may have to smooch before finding the right person to live happily ever after with.
According to Yahoo Style, the poll of 2-thousand people in relationships from lingerie brand Pour Moi finds that on average, people go through 3.7 partners before finding their true love. But not everyone gets lucky in that time frame. More than a quarter (26%) of people are involved in about eight relationships before they find “the one.”
Another recent study by comparison site Top10 reveals that Gen Z singles tend to worry about settling for the wrong person.

- Baby boomers are the most likely to do so, as 45% of them say they’ve experienced a situationship before, compared to 41% of Gen X, 35% of millennials and 32% of Gen Z.
