Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Is Coming To Movie Theaters
Swifties can finally get the Eras Tour experience without the expensive price tag. Taylor Swift announced on social media Thursday morning (August 31) that starting October 13, fans will be able to experience the concert film in theaters.
Tickets for the North America concert film experience are now on sale for AMC Theatres. The “Anti-Hero” singer added in her post, “Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged. 1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (iykyk)”
The singer-songwriter recently wrapped up her North American tour and has since moved on to Mexico. She said the tour has been “the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far.” Pricing for tickets are playfully thought out, with the price of an adult’s ticket being $19.89 (Swift’s birth year and album name), while kids and senior tickets are priced at $13.13 (her birthday day and favorite number). Prices will include tax as well.

As for the amount of showtimes available, AMC will provide plenty of showtimes to choose from. The “theatrical concert experience” will be shown four times a day at every AMC theater on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. A press release from AMC Theatres says the concert film will be available in “IMAX at AMC and Dolby Cinema at AMC and at AMC’s other branded premium large format screens for their standard upcharges.”
The ticket server capacity already had to be increased in order to handle over five times more traffic than “the current record for the most ever tickets sold in an hour.” Guests wanting to be the first to buy their tickets online may experience delays, longer than usual waiting room times, and possible outages, AMC states.
