The First Bojangles’ Restaurant in Charlotte Opened Today in 1977
Thank the heavens that this day in history happened. If you are a big fan of Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits, well on July 6th, 1977 the first restaurant in Charlotte opened. Founders Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas started the fast-food restaurant. This was a walk-in location without seating and the establishment offered a brand of seasoning that stood out from the rest.
If you head over to their Twitter feed you could win some birthday prizes of your own. Just reply and wish them a happy chicken-filled birthday. Now, you can get your bo-time on in so many places! If you live in the Southeast, you know where to find your local Bojangles with more than 500 stores in 10 states! There are also Bojangles now in Washington, D.C., and two foreign nations.
My go-to is the number 9 with a sweet tea. It’s simply perfect. The biscuit, with strips and honey mustard sauce…I’m making myself hungry right now.
It’s our birthday and we want some wishes. Drop a good ol' HBD in the comments below for a chance to win a
