The Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy are Deemed Essential Workers

Two important children’s characters have been dubbed essential by the New Zealand Prime Minister.

The Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy remain “essential workers” in New Zealand according to PM Jacinda Ardern. The prime minister smiled as she delivered the news, but asked children for understanding if the egg-carrying rabbit doesn’t get to everyone in time for Easter on Sunday as the country battles COVID-19.
