Creators of Ambien Respond To Roseanne’s Tweets
Sanofi, the makers of Ambien respond to Roseanne’s recent tweets, and their response is as professional as it is savage.
ABC took immediate action after Roseanne Barr posted and deleted a racist comment about Valarie Jarrett, a former advisory of the Obama administration. The controversial tweet resulted in the cancellation of the re-booted “Roseanne” show
In return, Barr attempted to cool down her critics in response to the tweet that got her show canceled. Although she should have left it with her apology, Barr awkwardly back peddled by posting another tweet saying she was “Ambien tweeting.”
Sanofi, the maker of Ambien swiftly responded tweeting “While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication.”
Ouch. Common sense can hurt. sometimes it’s best to stop tweeting after the apology because you never know when that Ambien will hit you.
People of all races, religions and nationalities work at Sanofi every day to improve the lives of people around the world. While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication.
