You know about the great BBQ in Western North Carolina if you have ever been there. The beautiful mountain scenery is accompanied by a smokin’ barbecue that is sure to delight any palate. We compiled our list of 10 places that are smokin’ good for some BBQ.

From Lenior to Hendersonville, all the way to Black Mountain, there are tons of places to get a plate full of tasty BBQ. By using some self-tasting and Google reviews, this is our list of the best of the best. For these 10 I am looking at Western North Carolina as anything West of Charlotte. From their Smokehouse Breakfast and Slow Smoked Hickory BBQ to the Sweet Iced Tea, Pig & Grits delivers that ‘down home’ southern experience that BBQ is known for.
