Buddy The Elf spaghetti is here! It’s one of many popular scenes in the loveable Christmas movie, “Elf”. It’s spaghetti night in the home of Buddy’s actual Dad, and his wife and son. After chugging a full two-liter bottle of Coca-Cola, he politely asks for the maple syrup to be passed. After discovering there is no maple syrup on the table because it’s spaghetti, he pulls a small bottle out of his sleeve. He tops his dinner off with the full bottle and proceeds to explain the four main food groups for elves: candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup. A new meal kit version of Buddy The Elf’s favorite meal will be on sale starting December 5th! The kits will include pasta, marshmallows, various types of candy, maple syrup, chocolate syrup, chocolate cereal, and chocolate-frosted Pop-Tarts. According to hellofreshspaghetti.com, they are only selling a limited number of kits and you can only purchase two per transaction. HelloFresh tweeted, “Our goal is always to create recipes that are both tasty and fun to prepare, and we’re sure this over-the-top recipe will satisfy any elf’s sweet tooth while bringing the holiday spirit to your household.”. I absolutely love this idea! Attainable Christmas movie nostalgia around the holidays is always a fun feeling whether it’s Buddy The Elf spaghetti or my personal favorite, the leg lamp from A Christmas Story!
