Live Nation Cancels Lawnie Pass Concert Program At Multiple Venues
Live Nation has ended its Lawnie Pass program – a $239 package that offered music fans unlimited lawn seating at select amphitheaters across the country.
Through December 31, members could attend shows at 25 outdoor venues. The deal included benefits like Fast Lane entry and free parking.
Marketing focused on outdoor music lovers, specifically “mosh-pit starters, grass grinders, and roof raisers,” according to IMDB.
Each pass came with specific conditions. The non-transferable tickets were valid only for the named person – no sharing was permitted.
Some events weren’t included. The passes didn’t cover pavilion-only shows, special events, venue rentals, or festivals. Members also couldn’t access VIP areas – no backstage passes or meet-and-greets were part of the deal.
The cancellation comes as ticket sellers adjust their approaches. Live Nation says their move to transparent, upfront pricing has improved sales completion rates.
Live Nation hasn’t explained why they ended the program. They remain silent about possible replacement plans.
