Carowinds Adds Two Family Rides, Seven Special Events for 2025
Carowinds will soon add two new Camp Snoopy rides and introduce seven new events coming in 2025. Families can look forward to a kid-friendly steel coaster and water ride they’ll soon be able to enjoy.
“Carowinds is known for being the home to world-class entertainment,” said Ryan Allen, director of live entertainment, to WCNC. “Our expanded event offerings for 2025 will help families make new memories and have more fun as the midways come to life on the state line.”
Snoopy’s Racing Railway, a quick steel coaster, takes riders from zero to 31 mph while reaching 40 feet in the air. Next door, Charlie Brown’s River Raft Blast takes eight people at a time through winding water paths.
The summer gets even better with two brand new festivals. Summerbration packs June and July with special activities, while Viva La Fiesta brings cultural celebrations from mid-July to early August.
The season opens with Spring Break Days in April, celebrating Fury 325’s tenth birthday. SCarowinds, the haunted nighttime event, celebrates 25 years from September through early November.
Oktoberfest brings German food and fun throughout fall. When winter comes, the park turns into a magical holiday scene during WinterFest, running from late November into January.
Last month, they announced that three older rides – Nighthawk, Scream Weaver, and Drop Tower – will close permanently. Although they will be losing those three, the promise of better rides is to come over the next few years.
At Carolina Harbor Water Park, visitors can enjoy waves and water slides all season. Gold Pass holders get early access to the new Camp Snoopy rides, plus they can attend special events for free.
Although many changes happening, the theme park promises to bring bigger and better rides.
