South Carolina To Host Lego Lovers Convention For Fans Of All Ages
I had a few Lego sets as a child. The larger and more young kid-friendly ones I believe go by a different name. And I had a few of the bigger sets as well. I specifically remember Hogwarts Castle from Harry Potter. Though the scale of that one was much smaller than the ones they sell today. I walk by the Lego store at SouthPark on occasion and am always impressed by the ones in the window. From the massive Titanic replica to the Harry Potter Diagon Alley, and other movie franchise sets. But perhaps the most impressive one I’ve seen was one that my uncle and cousin built during covid. It’s a working “Tower of Terror” type elevator drop ride. And man was it impressive. I simply don’t have the time to build Legos or a place to store the completed projects. Still, I have to say they are fascinating. And if you are a lego lover you might be excited to know a Lego Convention is coming to South Carolina next summer!
It’s called the Brick Convention Lego Fan Event and will be in Greenville, SC. According to its website, the BRICK CONVENTION is an event like no other. It brings all of the creative hands-on, minds-on fun of LEGO® building and experiences together in one activity- and entertainment-packed family event for children of all ages and builders of all skills and interests. There will be four total sessions Saturday, August 26th and 27th at the Greenville Shrine Club and Event Center. On both days sessions will run 10 am-1 pm and then 2 pm-5 pm.
Tickets are available online for $15 in advance for the South Carolina Lego event, BRICK CONVENTION. Get more info here.
