Starmed Charlotte Covid-19 Testing Sites Delaying Opening Monday
We’ve seen long (to say the least) lines in Charlotte for Covid-19 testing since before the holidays. And with Omicron surging, those lines aren’t anticipated to shorten any time soon. But bad news for those looking for tests on Monday, Starmed testing locations across the area will have a delayed opening due to the storm.
All Charlotte area testing sites are operating on a 3 hour delay due to high winds and rain. We will reassess in 2 hours. I’ll keep everyone updated.

While it can be frustrating trying to find a test and waiting in long lines, please do not go to the Emergency Room unless you are experiencing symptoms that need immediate attention. ER’s across the region are overrun with people making it harder for those who do need their services to be seen. If you aren’t sure whether or not you need to be seen try scheduling a virtual visit with your provider. It will be anticipated that the waits at the Charlotte Covid-19 testing site will remain high throughout the next couple of weeks. Stay safe out there everyone!
