South Carolina Coronavirus Update: Health Officials Estimate 72% Have Recovered From the Illness
Did you know we’re currently in a pandemic?
Just kidding. Bad joke. But seriously, more than 2.47 million people worldwide have been infected with the new coronavirus. Within that number, more than 787,000 of those infections are within our country, the United States. That number is ever changing, and the number will be different when you read this than when this was written…but with that number, the number of deaths continue to rise.
With all of the bad news, maybe this will be a little glimmer of hope. South Carolina health officials are estimating that 72% have recovered from the illness, while 28% remain sick.
