Billie Eilish Named Apple Music’s Artist of the Year for 2024
Congratulations, Billie Eilish! What a year it’s been for the singer, but now she has been named Apple Music’s 2024 Artist of the Year! After a year of new music and tours, she deserves recognition for a successful year.
The Los Angeles-born singer, songwriter released her album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT in May of this year and it helped propel her to even more success. The album consists of one of her biggest singles, “BIRDS OF A FEATHER.”

“Since day one, Apple Music has supported my music and artistry, and I am both honored and humbled to receive this recognition as Artist of the Year this many years into my career,” said Eilish, reports BILLBOARD.
Eilish’s album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT went to No. 1 on Apple Music’s all-genre albums chart in 138 countries worldwide. The album also hit No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart. Now, she is going into 2025 being nominated for another seven Grammy awards.
HIT ME HARD AND SOFT is up for album of the year and best pop vocal album and her single, “Birds of a Feather” is nominated for record of the year, song of the year, and best pop solo performance. The “Over Now Extended Edit” of “L’Amour De Ma Vie” is nominated for best dance pop recording and her Charli XCX “Guess” collaboration is also up for best pop duo/group performance.
After another successful year for Eilish, she gains recognition as Apple Music’s Artist of the Year for 2024. Wonder what is in store for her in 2025. Congrats, Billie!
